Job
respon­sibilities

Strategy & change management

• You will define our internal communication strategy in order to support the transformation of our business and projects involving change
• You will anticipate and identify change initiatives that require communication planning and execution
• You will define the budget accordingly
• You will support senior leaders in delivering consistent messaging
• You will support line managers in their internal communication

Communication campaigns & event management

• You will define the annual event calendar with HR and business leaders
• You will draw up communication plans, taking into account multiple and diverse audiences, stakeholders and cross-geographical teams
• You will adopt a creative approach to channel management that responds to business challenges in innovative ways, creating new and attractive communication channels
• You will produce engaging stories, videos and images that embody Fluxys’ purpose
• You will define key metrics to assess the effectiveness of our communication infrastructure
• You will be in charge of planning and organising internal and external events

People management

• You will manage and lead a team of experts and collaborate closely with the external communication teams (Strategic Communications Planning, Media & Digital Operations) to align content and activities.

Other responsibilities

• You will play an active role in the crisis communication team.

About
you

For this role, you have:

• A Master’s degree in communication sciences, journalism or a related field
• A proven experience (10+ years) in an internal and change communications role, ideally inside a complex and international environment
• A strategic communications background that includes the development of effective internal communications strategies in line with the business’ needs
• Experience in people management
• Experience in managing the full communications mix, which encompasses e-mail, intranet, enterprise social networks, webinars, vlogs, infographics, etc.
• Outstanding writing skills, ability to write accurate and compelling content
• Outstanding people skills at all levels, proven ability to build networks, interact with key stakeholders and to move confidently among the senior team
• A strong interest in the energy sector and the willingness to develop an in-depth knowledge of related activities
• Excellent Dutch, French and English language skills
