For the Internal Communication division at our headquarters in Brussels (near the train station and subway, see the map here) we’re looking for an Junior Internal Communication Officer (m/f/x).
Job purpose
A starter job gives you the chance to develop in line with your own personal interests, in a job which gradually offers you more and more responsibility. As such, it is the ideal opportunity for you to work alongside experienced people and, at the same time, gain an insight into the international natural gas transmission business.

Job
responsibilities
- You will take part in multiple internal campaigns via our various communication channels, including our intranet. To that end, you will be in contact with many colleagues in Belgium and abroad, as well as with external agencies. You will generate the necessary steps for production: from preparing briefings all the way to publication, including interviews, writing, internal validation, monitoring translations, producing visuals (photos, videos, infographics, etc.) and even formatting
- You will be the point of contact for managing the intranet within the company. You will ensure that content is up-to-date and relevant, and you will monitor the development of content in close collaboration with ICT and business
- You will contribute to the development and implementation of a timetable to promote our communication campaigns
- You will ensure that communication campaigns are in line with the visual identity and tone of our brand
About you

- You hold a master's degree in communication or equivalent
- You have good organisational skills and are solution oriented
- You will bring fresh ideas to the table and are up-to-date on the latest communication trends
- You are enthusiastic, creative, stress-resistant and flexible
- You have excellent interpersonal communication skills
- You are familiar with a wide range of digital applications
- Desktop publishing experience with Microsoft Word and/or knowledge of HTML would be a plus
- Experience in the use of graphics software (InDesign) and CMSs (Sitecore, SharePoint) would be a plus
- Your native language is French or Dutch and you understand and can speak the other language. A good command of English would be a plus
