For the Human Resources division at our headquarters in Brussels (near the train station and subway, see the map here) we’re looking for an International Compensation & Benefits Analyst (m/f/x).
Job purpose
As an International Compensation & Benefits Analyst, you will be part of the International HRM team and report directly to the Corporate HR Business Partner. Your role will be to provide support and expertise in key areas related to Compensation & Benefits for the Fluxys Group (in Belgium and at our subsidiaries abroad), ensuring that the Comp & Ben policy is consistent with and relevant to the Group's current and future strategy.

Compensation & Benefits
- You will take an active part in various international benchmarking exercises based on global HR master data
- You will analyse the results of these exercises and propose possible changes to the subsidiaries, for which you will also prepare the business cases, in collaboration with the Corporate HR Business Partner and the HR managers abroad
- You will build and maintain a professional relationship of trust with HR managers abroad, drawing on your Compensation & Benefits expertise to support them with specific requests and the handling of particular issues
Corporate HR
- You will play an active role in developing and enhancing Corporate HR best practices at Fluxys subsidiaries abroad. In line with Corporate HR policies, you will prepare the pay packages of subsidiaries' management teams (and their immediate staff, where relevant)
- You will contribute to the annual performance process and help to prepare remuneration committee meetings
Mergers & Acquisitions projects
- In the context of Fluxys' international expansion, you will participate actively in the various phases of M&A projects, from due diligence (analysing available HR documents and identifying HR risks) through to integrating new subsidiaries into the Fluxys Group
About you

For this role, you have:
- A master degree in economics or business, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, ideally in an international environment
- A real affinity with labour law
- A strong sense of team spirit and the motivation to work on cross-cutting projects
- Thoroughness, excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills and an ability to see the big picture
- A proactive and results-oriented attitude
- An open mind and a natural flair for communication allowing you to adapt to different situations and cultures
- A reliable, professional and confidential approach
- A fluency in English and a very good knowledge of either French or Dutch
- A proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, with particular expertise in Excel
