For the External Communication & Public Affairs division at our headquarters in Brussels (near the train station and subway, see the map here) we’re looking for a Corporate Communication Officer (m/f/x).
Job
purpose
As a Corporate Journalist, you will be responsible for handling communication for all of Fluxys’ target audiences (energy sector players, customers, authorities, partners, investors, journalists and the general public), using your writing skills to create effective communication tools that bolster Fluxys’ reputation, brand and strategy. Your role will also involve advising in-house contacts about their communication activities, thus contributing actively to Fluxys’ communication strategy.

responsibilities
- You will work with your colleagues to manage the content on the Fluxys Group’s various external communication channels, both offline and online. This will entail producing content, tracking approvals, overseeing translations and managing layouts and computer graphics
- You will be responsible for writing and coordinating annual reports, including CSR reports, and communicating about them on the relevant websites
- You will draft press releases and prepare presentations and speeches
- Assisted by your colleagues, you will ensure that communication on social media is consistent
- You will gradually become involved in crisis communication too
About
you

For this role, you have:
- A master’s degree in communication or journalism, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 five years’ experience in a similar position within a company or communication agency
- A natural curiosity and a strong interest in issues relating to the energy sector
- Excellent writing and spelling skills
- A clear and precise communication style that you tailor to suit your target audience
- A real sense of team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to build and maintain relationships both within and outside the company
- A well-organised, meticulous way of working and the ability to work under tight deadlines
- A flair for digital communication and proficiency in using new technologies and social media
- A native level of French or Dutch and fluency in the other national language. Good written skills in English
