For our Zeebrugge LNG terminal (see the map here) we’re looking for a Team Leader Measuring and Regulating Techniques (m/f/x).
 

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal is Northwest Europe’s gateway for supplies of LNG (liquefied natural gas). LNG unloaded at the terminal can be redelivered for consumption on the Belgian market, trading on the Zeebrugge Hub or transportation to other end-user markets in any direction: France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Southern Europe and the UK.

Job
respon­sibilities

• After in-house training, as a Team Leader you will manage a team of 10 employees in the Maintenance Department
• You will be responsible for your team's short-term work schedules and you will monitor the execution of work on a daily basis, while maintaining excellent quality and safety standards
• You will be responsible for the maintenance of active safety systems (e.g. fire detection and extinguishing systems)
• You will also be involved in developing and implementing modifications to existing equipment. To that end, you will work closely with the E&I Work Planner
• You will also perform corrective work while on call
• You will report to the E&I Officer

you

For this role, you have:

• A high school or bachelor's degree in instrumentation, measuring and regulating techniques, electronics, industrial automation, or equivalent experience
• Preferably, at least five years of relevant experience in a managerial role
• Knowledge of the configuration and maintenance of transmitters and actuators and, ideally, experience with fire detection and/or extinguishing systems
• Excellent communication skills enabling you to manage and motivate others and give them constructive feedback
• The ability work both independently and as part of a team
• A structured and proactive approach with focus on accuracy and quality
• A good knowledge of MS Office and, ideally, knowledge of SAP
• A very good knowledge of Dutch and a good grasp of English

Additionally, this role requires:

• Willingness to work in a shift/on-call system
• Residence within a radius of 30 minutes of the Zeebrugge LNG terminal
• A category B driving licence
