For our Zeebrugge LNG terminal (see the map here) we’re looking for a Electrician (m/f/x).

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal is Northwest Europe’s gateway for supplies of LNG (liquefied natural gas). LNG unloaded at the terminal can be redelivered for consumption on the Belgian market, trading on the Zeebrugge Hub or transportation to other end-user markets in any direction: France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Southern Europe and the UK.

Job
respon­sibilities

• You will carry out preventive or corrective electrical maintenance work on the electrical equipment and on the LNG terminal's electrical, electronic and/or pneumatic circuits and devices
• You will be jointly responsible for adjustments to the existing equipment
• You will carry out measurements and tests and help with the installation and connection of the equipment
• You will be jointly responsible for troubleshooting to ensure continued efficient operations

About
you

For this role, you have:

• A high school degree or bachelor in electricity
• Preferably, professional experience with electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic facilities
• The ability to work meticulously and autonomously
• A strong safety mindset and up to date knowledge of the latest regulations and standards in this area (e.g. SCC, ATEX, EEx)
• A strong sense of team spirit and good interpersonal and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and motivation to develop yourself
• Some knowledge of English

Additionally, this role requires:

• Willingness to be part of a shift/on-call system
• Residence within a radius of 30 minutes of the Zeebrugge LNG terminal
• A category B driving licence and personal vehicle
