For our Zeebrugge LNG terminal (see the map here) we’re looking for a Measurement and Control Technician (m/f/x).
 

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal is Northwest Europe’s gateway for supplies of LNG (liquefied natural gas). LNG unloaded at the terminal can be redelivered for consumption on the Belgian market, trading on the Zeebrugge Hub or transportation to other end-user markets in any direction: France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Southern Europe and the UK.

Job
respon­sibilities

• You will safely carry out maintenance work on the control loops of the LNG terminal’s electrical and mechanical units and equipment (including calibration)
• You will make adjustments to existing equipment
• You will carry out all kinds of measurements and tests and will install and connect the necessary devices
• You will analyse faults and malfunctions and make the necessary repairs
• You will modify instrumentation settings where necessary
• You may also be required to be on call, where you will help rectify faults to ensure continued efficient operation

About you

For this role, you have:

• A high school degree or bachelor in electricity, electronics, industrial automation or computer science
• Experience in instrumentation work, preferably in an industrial process environment
• Sound problem-solving skills
• The ability to work meticulously and autonomously
• A strong sense of team spirit

Additionally, this role requires:

• Willingness to be part of a shift/on-call system
• Residence within a radius of 30 minutes of the Zeebrugge LNG terminal
• A category B driving licence and personal vehicle
