For the Finance department at our headquarters in Brussels (near the train station and subway, see the map here) we’re looking for an Senior Controller (m/f/x).
Amid the ongoing expansion of our business abroad, the Management Controlling Team acts as a business challenger with the aim of increasing the value of our investments and of the Fluxys Group. Through its cross-functional involvement with other units at Group corporate level, the Management Controlling Team is in constant interaction with our subsidiaries' management teams and with various departments.

purpose
As a Senior Controller, you will contribute to Fluxys' growth by taking part in and monitoring the performance of acquisitions made by the Group, both in Europe and internationally.

responsibilities
- You will monitor, improve and validate economic, financial and regulatory information from the subsidiaries. To that end, you will work closely with the subsidiary in question and the Affiliates Management Department
- You will manage reporting and budgeting exercises, which involves playing an active part in their production and analysis, as well as regular consultations with stakeholders
- You will draw up the multi-year plan while ensuring it is in line with the relevant subsidiary's strategy and the company's longer-term objectives. You will suggest appropriate changes and/or solutions
- You will be responsible for modelling investment projects for subsidiaries and providing support in the decision-making process
- You will analyse and advise management on strategic decisions having financial repercussions
- You will promptly provide the consolidation team with the relevant financial information
- You will actively contribute to continuously improving reporting, control and planning processes within the Group and its subsidiaries
About
you

For this role, you have:
- A master's degree, preferably in finance (business engineering, management science, business economics, MBA)
- At least five years initial experience in finance, preferably in an international environment
- A first experience with IFRS, modelling and SAP
- Excellent analytical skills, keen eye for detail and focus on results which help you to understand the different aspects of the business process in an integrated and holistic way
- An ability to understand complex analyses in a reactive and demanding environment and can juggle multiple tasks and projects
- A genuine team spirit allowing you to create links between the different departments (financial and others) at corporate level as well as with our subsidiaries abroad
- Fluency in French and English. Knowledge of Portuguese would be a plus
