For the Projects Pipelines & Installations division at our headquarters in Brussels (near the train station and subway, see the map here) we’re looking for an Electrical Site Coordinator (m/f/x).

Job
respon­sibilities

• You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical work performed in connection with projects modifying our infrastructure, in particular pressure-reducing stations throughout Belgium
• As such, you will work closely with the project manager, who is responsible for the entire project
• You will guarantee the quality of the work carried out and will inspect plans, specifications, working methods, etc. to this end
• You will ensure compliance with the safety rules. This includes checking work instructions, SCC aspects on site, work preparations and so on
• You will manage the schedule while work is under way (keeping track of deadlines, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, etc.)
• You will keep an eye on the budget (overseeing performance and work carried out on a cost-plus basis according to the contracts in force, etc.)
• You will also be responsible for the administrative side of the work (e.g. preparing orders, receiving materials, maintaining welding registers, creating as-built drawings)
• During testing, you will work closely with all those on site to quickly identify and resolve any problems that arise

you

For this role, you have:

• A bachelor's degree, preferably in electricity, automation, electromechanics or mechanics
• Preferably some initial professional experience on site in automation or as an electrician
• Ideally familiarity with the Belgian General Regulations on Electrical Installations (AREI/RGIE) as well as an SCC diploma and a workplace first aid qualification
• A an analytical/critical mind
• A well organised, pragmatic and results oriented way of working
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to perform well in a multicultural environment
• Strong digital and ICT skills
• Fluency in French and/or Dutch and knowledge of the other language
• The willingness to travel between our various sites throughout Belgium
